Playboy Playmates Stats

Playmates are known world wide for being “perfect” girls, so perfect in fact that it’s general knowledge that they’re all touched up to achieve such perfection. I’ve read Playboy for about 13-15 years and really enjoy the magazine. I have to admit however, that I think the Playmates have gone down hill in recent years…

Anyway, I decided that something that has been part of my life for so many years deserves a list, maybe even two. So this list is going to cover Playmate extremes, by extreme I mean the furthest away from he averages. If I missed anyone, let me know in the comment section below.

1. Tallest Playmate: Cara Michelle at 6′ 2″

You may recognize Michelle from a few movies that she earned parts in like Bedazzeled.

2. Shortest Playmate: Sue Williams at 4′ 11″

Sue also had her run with Hollywood until her unfortunate death in 1969

3. Oldest Playmate: Rebecca Ramos at 35

Rebecca also was named Cyber Girl of the Week in September 2001.

4. Youngest Playmate: Elizabeth Ann Roberts at 16

That’s right, sweet little 16! As the story goes, Elizabeth showed up to the photo shoot with a permission slip from her mother allowing her to be photographed. consequently, both Elizabeth’s mother and Hef himself were arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Upon further investigation, it seems that quite a few Playmates were photographed at 17 with these “permission slips” back in the late 50’s/early 60’s. I have a feeling the charges would be a bit stiffer today.

I originally wanted to do a “Fattest and Skinniest” based on the BMI but apparently those stats aren’t available. Either way, I believe Anne would have taken the honors.

7. First Playmate: Margie Harrison January 1954

Many people mistakenly believe Marilyn Monroe was the first Playmate, however, though she was in the first issue, Playboy didn’t have an official “Playmate of the Month” till their 2nd issue. Marilyn was Playboys first and only Sweetheart of the Month.

8. Largest Bust: Rosemarie Hillcrest at 41″

As the story goes, Rosemarie was seeking an interview with a millionaire for a college newspaper and was able to pursued Hef to the task, while there, Hef offered her the chance to be a playmate. I’m sue this was all done professionally.

9. Playmate with the Most Covers: Pamela Anderson at 11

It’s only fitting that I end on Pamela. Although, with my own age I’ve grown to understand just how fake Pamela is, when I was a teenager, she was my first Playmate crush. My young mind couldn’t begin to understand the perfection spread across the pages and with 11 covers under her belt, I’m guessing I wasn’t alone.
